Abby Kyle, who will teach Intermediate/Advanced Ballet this summer for six weeks, is currently the College Women’s Director at First Baptist Church of Eugene, but before moving here from Houston, Texas in 2023 she was a dance instructor for various studios and public school dance teams! Her love for dance started with a ballet class at 6 years old and continued every year since then into college as she joined, then led, Divine Call Dance Team at Liberty University. This contemporary dance team was the first to show her God’s purpose for dance as primarily an act of worship to the Lord and to share the Word of God through dance as storytelling. Since then, Abby’s sole aim as an instructor is to love and encourage dancers to worship Jesus and bring beauty to the world with God’s gift of dance.
