Anna Rower (creative director): I began ballet classes at Dance Spectrum in Eugene, OR at the age of 4. I loved to dance but begged to do more when I was 8 years old. At the time I joined Zreliak Artistic Performing Productions (ZAPP) dance company and started taking Jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and ballet at the affiliated studio, On Your Toes. I fell in love with the high energy movement and spent the next 10 years at On Your Toes traveling around the world performing with ZAPP. I grew up in a Christian home, but when I was 17, I gave my heart to the Lord and wanted to live every moment for Him. That’s when I knew I had to use my love for dance to bring others to know Jesus. My sister, Amy Baker, and I have been in dance ministry together ever since. The only thing I love more than dancing is bringing people to know Christ through it.
Anna is wife to John and mom to six beautiful girls, who dance at the studio. She danced and acted the role of Mary in JCSD’s original production of Mary, and can be found on stage with JCSD instructors and apprentices each spring. She is JCSD’s creative director for the 2025-26 year.
