Summer 2021

JCSD’s summer season runs for six weeks beginning July 5. Join us for a variety of camps and classes to be held in Studios A and C inside Christ’s Center Church, 530 W. 7th St. in Junction City. Recent changes to COVID-19 guidelines mean we will be able to run the camps and classes without masks, though we will continue to require hand washing when dancers arrive and throughout the time as needed. Summer Camps

July 12-16

Little Mermaid: Ages 3-5 learn ballet and tap dance to music from the Disney movie from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. Cost: $100

Hawaiian Camp: Ages 6-10 dance hula, the storytelling dance of the Hawaiian Islands from 1-2:30 p.m. Cost: $100

July 19-23

Little Mermaid: Ages 3-5 learn ballet and tap dance to music from the Disney movie from 10-11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. Cost: $100

Spy Camp: Ages 6-10 will dance in hip hop style (grooves, house, Krump, breaking) to music from Mission Impossible, Mr. Incredible, and Pink Panther from 1-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Cost: $100

August 2-5 

Coed Popping Camps: Ages 8+ will join Mr. James for this class from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Cost: $80

Six-week Classes: July 5-August 13

Beginning Jazz (ages 6-10)
M/W 4:30-5:30 p.m. Cost: $150
Stretch & Strengthening (all ages)
T/Th 4:30-5:30 p.m. Cost: $150 or $20 drop-in
Beginning Ballet (ages 6-10)
T/Th 5:30-6:30 p.m. Cost: $150
Variations Intermediate/Advanced Ballet
T/Th 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost: $360
Intermediate/Advanced Combo (contemporary and hip hop) (level 3+)
W 6-7 p.m. Cost: $150
