Hello, my name is James. I have been dancing my entire life. Michael Jackson was a huge inspiration to me as a child and I would teach my siblings and friends dances from music videos. This love of dance continued through middle and high school. In my mid-twenties, I formed a group of dancers called The Lane County Poppers. We opened for many multi-platinum hip hop artists as well as performing with local dance schools at fairs and music venues. I enjoy entertaining and I have continued to dance and use this form of art to help and inspire others.
The style of dance that has taken my heart is “Popping”. It is a style of dance that is driven mostly from robotic movements as well as fluid motion.
Our Most High has blessed me with these talents and I believe he’s called me to mentor youth through dance.
